Akar Group of Colleges stands as a testament to the visionary leadership and unwavering dedication of its founder, Late Dr. R.S. Patel. A distinguished academician and an inspiring educator Dr. R.S. Patel served as the Former Professor and Head of the Department of Education, as well as the Former Director of the School of Psychology, Education, and Philosophy at Gujarat University, Ahmedabad.
With decades of experience in higher education, Dr. Patel was deeply committed to shaping young minds and nurturing academic excellence. His profound knowledge, compassionate mentorship, and progressive outlook laid the foundation for an institution built on the values of integrity, innovation, and inclusive learning.
Under his guidance, Akar Group of Colleges was established with a vision to create a centre of academic distinction that empowers students to become competent professionals and responsible citizens. His humanitarian and participatory approach with teaching, non-teaching staff and students have built higher ethical values for our institutes.
